It is traditional, the New Year brings ideas and plans for new beginnings. We like to think of newness in opportunities and goals.
Many of us even seem driven at this time of the year to deep dive into a feng shui type of order and flow. We clean and organize our homes, especially closets and drawers. Our neighbors and I have even washed our cars this week. There’s a theme that’s abuzz, to clean, declutter.
Inside ourselves, many of us experience a calling also—to new order, and to let go of what’s unneeded. Consciously, thoughtfully, we aim to step into the new year with a feeling of new dimension.
Will it be a year to succeed in some long-term goals we’ve been working on? Or to begin a new sport or art, craft, or skill?
Will we endeavor to create deeper relationships by first ourselves being more loving, open …in touch with ourselves and more transparent in our hearts’ desires?
Will there be more quiet time in addition to the gathering with others?
Will our activities reflect a deeper way of living?
In 2025, may we further enjoy ourselves and discover more truths within. May we create more harmonious flow—in our private time, home spaces, and with others.
May we be relaxed and clearer minded.
May we find peace where there is concern. Harmony with nature. More harmony within ourselves.
It is there, the harmony. We may have to stoke the embers to bring out the sparks, and even support the flames to keep the light, but our natural state is within harmony...love.
Deeper questions and answers we seek are within or nearby, as much as the consistency of the sun and moon, day and night, faithful seasons, gravity, air, earth, and so much more.
For all who want more, may we choose to pause, consider our hearts’ desires. Make space to listen to the language from the heart.
Stoke your inner glowing embers of wellness and creativity. Breathe on them, add more kindling to what brings your individual fires of wellbeing.
